What client software will you be using to update your self hosted wp blog? I made the switch a few years ago and you do get a tone more flexibility. One word of caution is that you have to stay on top of the upgrades as securty holes pop up a lot. It is much easier to upgrade these days though so not a huge time sink. Hey Dave.
